Custom Saltwater Stand-up Fishing Rods
The new Saltwater Stand-up fishing rod series has a XLH70
premium 70 million modulus graphite rod blank with Kevlar scrim for additional durability and a flexible tip made from an Eglass overlay. These rods have "SLTSU" in the model
number. The custom saltwater fishing rods include Pac Bay hardened stainless
steel roller guides and a heavy duty machined aluminum reel seat with extra
fine threads to virtually eliminate slipping. The standard handle is a EVA
black foam grip with gimbal.
Choose among several design options for the foam
fore and rear grips of your custom made saltwater rod. Standard is the black
EVA foam. Other choices are three solid colors of closed cell foam or two
etched designs on closed cell foam that provide a unique look that cannot be
matched. An exotic feather pattern or several thread weaves can be substituted
for the fish prism at an extra charge for a one of kind look on your new
saltwater fishing rod.
In addition, the stand-up saltwater rod series also
has an optional, marine grade, aluminum machine butt handle. This can be
either a curved handle used as a stand-up rod or straight handle used for
trolling. With a female piece on the rod, these handles are easily
interchanged. If both are purchased, your one rod now becomes two! Handles are
available in silver, black, and blue.
Due to the extensive machining and customization of
these new saltwater fishing rods, please allow a minimum of eight weeks for
delivery.
Nine new models are available with conventional
reel seats that compliment the existing saltwater models. Depending upon
model, custom fishing rods in the original line feature either the XLH70
premium 70 million modulus graphite blank or the 70 million modulus graphite
blank with an Eglass overlay. All existing saltwater fishing rods come with
Pac Bay hardened stainless steel roller guides. An exotic feather pattern can
be substituted for the fish prism at an extra charge. As with the new line,
you name will be inscribed in gold on your custom made fishing rod for free.
