Four Things To Consider When Buying a Fishing Rod
1. Understand the makeup of a fishing rod. The rod blank,
guides, handle and action determine the amount of vibration that travels from
the lure/bait up through the line to the hand.
2. Whether you fish freshwater or saltwater,
understand the habits of the species your after and the general type of
physical environment you plan to fish.
3. While line should be within the range shown
for a particular rod, do not forget to match the stretch of line with the
action of the rod.
4 The quality of the fishing rod you hold and the line
you use are the two things that affect your sense of feel. You are better off
purchasing one quality custom fishing rod rather than using the same amount of money to buy
several cheaper rods.

"Grandt rods are without question the best rods I have ever used. Their design, material makeup, and performance are extraordinary. Both the 70 million modulus graphite (XLH70) and the All American Pro Series 58 million modulus rods have incredible sensitivity to feel the most subtle strike.
When you fish as many hours in competition fishing as I have done, performance and comfort are extremely important. Many competitive
BASS professionals will tell you that a quality rod is worth the price and using Grandt rods will increase your fishing success."
